Pauline Marois, 63, leader del Parti Quebecois – formazione che rivendica l’indipendenza della provincia francofona dal Canada – ha vinto dunque le elezioni locali, diventando nuovo primo ministro. Formerà un governo, avendo conquistato il 56 dei 125 seggi del Parlamento del Quebec: ci si prepara così a convocare un referendum per l’Indipendenza, dove il Quebec diventerà stato indipendente e non sarà più suddito del Canada. La nascita di nuovi stati è ormai una via inevitabile verso la modernità, verso l’efficienza, verso il rispetto dei Popoli.
